2015-2016

We co-hosted a Qualifier with FTC Team 25 Honor Roll on December 6th, at Monrovia High School.

Our first qualifier was on December 12th, at the Palmdale Aerospace Academy.

At our first qualifier, we received the Promote Award, Connect Award, and the second place Inspire Award. We were also nominated for Control Award, Motivate Award, Think Award, and Compass Award.

Our second qualifier was on January 17th, at the deToledo High School.

At our second qualifier, we received the prestigious title of Inspire Award Winner. We were also nominated for the Think, PTC Design, Rockwell Collins Innovate, Connect, Motivate, and Compass Awards.

Our regional tournament will be on February 27th, at Monrovia High School.

We were honored to receive the extremely prestigious title of Inspire Award Winner at the LA FTC Regional Tournament. We were also nominated for the Think Award and the PTC Design Award. Also, congratulations to Isabella Lau, one of the three Dean's List Award Finalists representing the LA FTC region for FTC Team 5218 Javabots.

Our west super-regional tournament will be from March 24th to March 26th at the Oakland Convention Center in Oakland, California.

After a long tournament day, we ended our first day ranked 6th place in the gold division, hopeful for the events of the next day. However, the odds weren't in our favor, and the next day, we ended the tournament ranked 19th place and no awards. We will not be moving on to the last round of competition, but we had a great season!

We are the Javabots, FTC Team #5218, and we are officially signing out from the RES-Q season. Thank you for the memories.
